I just happern to take example from PC games, but its concept are pretty much the same. Dont believe me? just see Rising Forces that is one of the kind of Army Games which i mentioned ( Warrior Gear same weapon same armor, Mage Gear same weapon same armor, Ranger/Gunner same weapon same armor, Bellato Armor RIder? the exact frikkin same for the rest of the player ). Most of MMORPG/RPG on smartphones games are class lock / gender lock, not many smartphones game offer player to customize their equipment, appereance or even face, Well some did, but the preset is pretty small in numbers so what we will play will be "Army Games" ( I called it "Army Games" because the character faces & end game gears is pretty much the same for everyone else as standard. Most of them are now duplicate of other game but with different sprite / pixel or just polished with better graphic. WTH? im playing games not just turn my smarphone on just to play with himself. Smarthpones MMORPG/RPGs nowadays are mostly boring or just duplicate of another game, auto questing / auto pathing to npc or hunting ground / auto attack / auto report. It's a pretty waste of time and even your normal lives will be worth more.Ĭ. I think everyone who play games know one thing, chances to become Champions or be the winner, this is why we play games ( or just get the storyline done / secret of the game ). What? you dont want to be a winner? champion of PVE? champion of PVP? nonsense. Its like you condemned to play it forever without chances to get what you want. You can play as long as you want, online few hours just to get the quests done oooor online a few couple of hours in a day ( while wake up, breakfast, lunch, working, school, etc) just to get the quest done! i've done it and it takes toll on me and my smartphones. Daily Quest as your daily workouts, most of the game nowadays are giving petty reward for daily, weekly, monthly or event quest. Congratulations! now you've become their money bag and fodder for the PTW players.ī. In shorts if you want to stay at PVP, PVE, RAID ladder or any ladders, you have to get that character or items.
Not just for PVE and PVP, but also for RAID and other uses which is makes no sense.
This "Gacha Styles" games nowadays are pretty boring as hell because every new character they make is moar, moar, and moar ( not just more anymore ) POWERFULL as hell compared to their first batch of characters when they launched for the first time. Pay To Win, (DUH!) well i know every game is this way because this is how developer and publisher makes money, but dont get me wrong.
Many smartphones games of MMORPGs or the most popular genre nowadays which i called "The Gacha Styles" ( Seven Knight, Brave Frontier, Fate, Etc ) is pretty BORING as hell.

Im not the type that grinding pretty crazy, but im the type of player who likes to analyze gameplay, enjoy games as normal or compare games for their pro and cons. I think i've lost count thou LoL ( Suikoden series, Star Ocean series, Final Fantasy series, Jade Cocoon series, Castlevanias (the ARPG one), Dark Clouds, Monster Rancher aaand for the PC / MMORPG is Ragnarok Online, Rising Forces, R.O.S.E, TS Online, World of Warcraft, Rift, Archeage and many other games which i couldnt remember thou, im getting old for christ sake ( T.T)). In all my life i've been playing quite a lot of things especially RPG's from console, handheld or PC games. I'm one of kind of people which you maybe can called me as a standard gamer.
